![]() ![]() If GG or Belos do go to earth, and their staffs stop working - like the glyphs did, then artificial magic taps into wild the same way. Also, as a coven member, she wouldn't have been able to tap into it.Īrtificial magic might tap wild as well, but there's no real evidence either way yet. Lilith was the studious sister, but would have believed anything Belos told her about wild magic and likely refused to read anything about it, except how dangerous it was. Her unfettered access may well have been why she was the most powerful witch. When Boscha lit the grudgby ball on fire, she was using wild magic to supplement her own.Įda wasn't the studious sister and didn't really look into how magic worked, just developed her strength. That's why some - but not all - of the witch's spells reveal a glyph. I would bet that until witchlings are locked into a coven, they unknowingly access wild magic as well once locked they only have access to their own bile, and within limits imposed by their coven. Wild is the ever-present magic that is commanded and used by the glyphs. ![]() I think there's 3 types wild, bile, and artificial. In fact the crazy fire ball feat we see from Gus powering a glyph with his own circle could be a hint of what wild magic can really do. I'm not sure why the Coven's are what they are, but I find it likely that as Wild magic might only use magic to make glyphs and guide the natural magic, the coven tattoos would be able be able to draw much from the little power use, and can't stop people from using simple magic to make glyph to command other magic. The fuel needed for artificial magic is likely magic syphoned from people through their coven tattoos while infecting their Bile to only create one kind of magic. Leading to less draining more powerful spells.Īrtificial Magic: It is possible sources of artificial magic work like computers, saving storying and mixing the Glyphs to control natural magic, but like wild magic requires a separate fuel source to power the computer part. ![]() In Wild magic, a witch uses their bile magic to quickly create complex glyphs that, that then guide the natural magic around it. So in the case of a light spell, drawing the glyph uses no magic, but tells the natural magic what to do, and using Bile magic requires making a circle to focus the spell, before powering its effects. Wild Magic: The oldest form of magic for witches, that we hear a lot about, but have yet to see, we know it is similar to glyph magic, but since is was cast by those who did have Magic Bile it make no sense for them the need to draw the glyphs, so i bet it is a combination, where a witch would use her Bile magic to draw, not a just a circle for there magic to manifest, but the full glyphs in the circle. This is easy to control since it's based on your will, and you have your power source with you, but it can be draining as it uses the caster's own power. All you need to do is draw a circle while focusing on what you want the circle to do. Inate/Normal/Bile Magic: Those who have magic Bile sacks in their body, and use some of that magic bile to create the desired magic. ![]() Drawing a glyph requires no magic as it simply commands the magic around it. Glyph Magic: The boiling isle is so full of magic, that all one needs to do to wield it is to learn the language of magic, Glyphs.
